• Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations related to labor laws, payroll, and employment practices.
• Monitor changes in statutory requirements and implement updates to policies and processes accordingly. Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.) on time.
• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to address compliance issues or audits.

Payroll Compliance And Management

• Oversee compliance within large payroll systems, ensuring accurate calculations and adherence to statutory norms.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
• Collaborate with finance and HR teams to resolve payroll-related issues.

Team Management

• Lead and manage a team responsible for compliance and payroll operations.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct regular team reviews and monitor performance metrics.

Risk Mitigation

• Identify compliance risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.
• Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure compliance standards are met.

Policy And Process Improvement

• Develop, review, and update compliance policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Ensure alignment of compliance processes with organisational goals and objectives.
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Key Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications in compliance (e.g., LLB, CHRP) are Minimum 7-10 years of experience in statutory compliance and payroll management.
• Proven experience handling large payroll systems and managing a team.
