Seeking an experienced Manager of Global Communications based in Wiley’s Noida, India office, this critical member of our global Corporate Communications team will drive external communications and public relations for Wiley’s Research & Learning business in APAC. Additionally, this role will lead PR for Wiley’s tech centers outside the U.S. and support select internal communications activities in India.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Communications and Media Relations, this position works closely with regional and global leaders across Corporate Communications, Research & Learning, Government Affairs, Marketing, and other teams

How you will make an impact:

External Communications

• Develop and execute PR plans aligned with global priorities.
• Lead external communications & media relations for APAC and Wiley tech centers outside the U.S.
• Identify stories, craft content (POVs, bylines), and pitch to media.
• Support ESG and CSR PR efforts.
• Manage crisis communications and reputation.
• Collaborate with corporate social media for APAC event visibility.

Internal Communications

• Align cross-regional communications.
• Partner with HRBPs, leadership, and local teams on employee engagement initiatives.
• Support employer branding and internal storytelling.
• Create intranet content to connect and inspire colleagues.

Event Management

• Support strategic internal & external events (e.g., town halls, executive visits).
• Manage vendor, agency, and partner relationships for regional events.
• Secure Wiley’s participation in key APAC industry events.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Science preferred.
• 4-5 years’ experience in PR & Corporate Communications (global company or PR agency with global brands).
• Strong English proficiency with superb writing, editing, and AI tool expertise.
• Skilled in strategic communications, media relations, and reputation management with cross-cultural communication abilities.
• Experience in scholarly publishing, technology, AI, and public affairs; able to balance regional market dynamics with global priorities.
• Proven track record in executing PR campaigns with measurable results.
• Avid news reader with an understanding of APAC trends and the ability to ‘news-jack’ for media coverage.
• Expert in media relations, with strong journalist and agency relationships.
• Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and project management skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
