Windmill is looking for Engineering Manager role

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and enhancing team processes and outputs

• Make sure that the team use best practices, considering functional / non-functional requirements

• Managing, mentoring and supporting team members

• Explaining and Driving architecture and design directions for project teams

• Driving the estimation process and client coordination on day today activities

• Taking technical ownership of a project delivery including coaching, mentoring (need basis) and development support to ensuring deliveries

• Awareness of emerging technologies / industry trends and applying them into team activities

• Working closely with internal stakeholders to make sure that business needs are met according to company processes

  Requirements:

• 10+ years of overall technology development experience

• Sound understanding and exposure as full stack developer with 5+ years in JavaScript (React and/or Angular) and Java (Spring Preferable)/ Nodejs.

• 3+ years of experience in leading technology delivery with a view in end to end architectures and overseeing through delivery

• Expertise in working with both relational and non-relational databases

• Knowledge and experience in cloud-native applications

• Experience in optimizing application for various NFR like scalability, performance, and security

• Experience of managing and mentoring team members

• Experience with Agile and Lean development

  Would be a plus:

• Graduated with a degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

• Relevant technology certifications
