Roles & Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and other external stakeholders on compliance matters related to real estate compliances and other compliances
• Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and standards that apply to the organization.
• Develop, update, and communicate compliance policies and procedures to employees and stakeholders.
• Ensure the company’s operations, processes, and products comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain a compliance risk assessment process to identify and address potential areas of non-compliance.
• Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Track and analyze compliance metrics, generating reports for management on compliance status and areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance activities, findings, and corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation on time.
• Collaborate with legal and regulatory experts to ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting.
• Identify compliance risks and potential areas of vulnerability; develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Advise management on compliance-related risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, quality, and safety, to address compliance concerns.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience:

• 10-15 years of experience in compliance related roles
• Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Working experience with regulatory authorities at central, state, local level related to real estate compliances and other compliances
• Strong government contacts at local, state, and central levels
• Proven experience in driving compliance programs at central, state, local level
