Job Description

Position Overview: – The candidate is responsible for Automation testing of Web applications and APIs. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and supporting the planning, designing, and execution of test plans, test scripts, test cases and process plans for projects. The candidate should demonstrate strong attention to detail and also have good analytical and problem-solving abilities.Required Qualifications: –

• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent technical work experience
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in Software Testing.
• Minimum 1.6 years of working experience in Web and API Automation testing.

• The candidate should have good hands-on experience in API Automation testing and Web Automation testing.
• The candidate should have basic knowledge or experience with Mocha and Chai.
• The candidate should have basic knowledge or experience with Javascript and Typescript.

• Must have excellent communication/presentation skills
• SDLC and Agile methodology knowledge.
• Should have Strong testing aptitude with a clear understanding of testing concepts.
• Ability to manage QA responsibility independently
• He/ She should have proper knowledge about manual testing tools and techniques.
• Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs
• Good analytical and logical skills
• Good experience in monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an eye towards improving product quality

Job Responsibilities: –

• The candidate will be responsible for API Automation testing and Web Automation testing.
• The candidate should have experience in Functional, Usability, Reliability & Regression testing.
• Preparing Test Summary, Test Cases and Assessment Reports.
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
• Clearly communicates testing and project status.
• Must know different types of testing, approaches, and tools.
• Keep updated about the latest updates on the web testing techniques.
• Must have knowledge about bug tracking tools like (Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
