Job Description

We are looking for a Data Automation Associate to join the Data Automation and Enablement team in Delhi. The Data Automation and Enablement Team is responsible for the quality of data that is held in our data platform as well as providing support to the research teams around processes and workflows. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our committed data community.

About the role

This is a role in which you will help us achieve our goal to efficiently deliver quality data of the highest integrity to our clients.

As a key user of our data platform, you will apply best practices to utilise or maintain datasets, data models and processes from data sourcing to client delivery.

Working in a team of data experts, you will regularly perform complex data extracts, interpretation, and reporting of data to derive or support analysis with internal or external clients. You will have primary responsibility for the ownership or manipulation of a particular data set.

Wood Mackenzie’s ongoing digital transformation aims to redefine how customers interact with our comprehensive, industry-leading data. You will collaborate across different teams and functions including Research and Technology to the improve efficiency of processes.

Qualifications

About you and how you can excel in this role

You have started to learn about how high-quality data can support business decision-making and want to learn more working in a future focused team within a leading research, analytics, and consultancy organization.

You are comfortable managing and interpreting data from different sources utilizing tools / languages such as Python, power query and SQL.

You can also make good use of data visualization tools such as Power BI.

You have full MS Office proficiency and can work with databases.

Experience with AWS data platforms and agile projects are a bonus

You are a strong communicator, have worked with stakeholders before, and enjoy learning new things through data.

Above all of this you are hardworking and inquisitive,

You thrive when working with others across different teams as well as independently to get things done on time and it makes it more interesting for you when you have multiple projects on the go.

You are a self-starter looking to add value using your data experience in a collaborative, commercial and client-centric environment.
