Job Description
We are looking for an Operations Associate to join our Business Performance team. As part of the Operations function, the team is responsible for providing the business with timely, actionable analysis to enable commercial success, as well as tracking and reporting progress against our company objectives via key performance indicators (KPIs)
Main Responsibilities
Maintaining and refreshing internal sources of data that aid the efficient managing of the business. This includes preparing inputs for management information reports to the Segment & other Functional leadership teams.
Applying best practice to manage our datasets, tools and processes from source to stakeholder delivery, bringing about changes to help us measure our performance more efficiently.
Working with data visualisation tools, in particular PowerBI, to track key performance metrics ensuring that users can understand and act upon the information contained within.

Qualifications
Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Good knowledge of MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables etc.)
Experience in using data visualisation tools (Power BI preferred)
Analytically minded with strong problem solving and data analysis skills
A high level of attention to detail
Good organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously
Strong communication skills with ability to present clear information
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
Confident, self-motivated, professional and proactive
1+ years of related experience in a similar role would be advantageous
Expectations
You are comfortable collecting data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness. You can also understand its value in driving decision-making in the business. You are able to visualise data in a way that is easy for end-users to understand and interpret.
You enjoy having multiple projects on the go and can adapt to changing priorities. You can work in collaboration with people in different roles but work independently when required.
You use your initiative to suggest alternative approaches or new ways of working, and have the confidence to convince others that your method will work.
You can develop a good understanding of the Wood Mackenzie business, allowing you to participate in the development and delivery of effective reporting. Given that this role holder will have access to sensitive information, you can demonstrate discretion in dealing with confidential data.
You are proficient across the Microsoft Office Suite, most importantly in Excel and Power BI.

We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.
Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
