• Design and run tests to check software functionality, usability, and performance.
• Team up with different departments to understand project needs.
• Create clear test plans based on requirements.
• Uncover defects, bugs, and inconsistencies during testing.
• Track and document issues using systems like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Work with developers to fix problems you find.
• Give input on testability and quality during software design.
• Keep stakeholders informed on software quality and release readiness.
• Always look for ways to improve testing processes.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest testing trends and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or similar field (preferred).
• 2-4 years of experience as a Manual Tester or similar QA role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methods, tools, and techniques.
• Experience creating test plans, cases, and scripts from documents.
• Pro with issue-tracking systems and test management tools.
• Keen eye for detail with top-notch problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Can work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus points for Agile development experience and ISTQB certification.
