Part of the Pay TV business of Xperi, the Cloud-based TiVo Service allows for simple integration, flexible deployments and scalability. It powers the entire user experience and enables personalized content discovery plus IPTV features, such as IP Video-On-Demand, Restart, Catch-Up and Network DVR (nDVR). Real time provisioning, changes in catalog and program guides while providing a consistent experience across various platforms like Linux STB, Android Tv, Mobile apps is always a challenge we relish.

Job purpose:

Successful candidate will be responsible for QE deliverables for IP Video on Demand cloud services. Will be giving technical guidance for developing automation framework, enhance automation scripts for RestAPI testing. Will be part of competitive team responsible for continuously improving efficiency, scalability, availability, resiliency of the cloud hosted services.

Here’s what you get to do:

Develop Test Strategy, Test Plans for new feature development.
Develop Functional, non-functional Test cases including performance, resiliency and scale test.
Monitor and enhance the test to map the service availability.
Review and guide on the manual and automation tasks to ensure high quality delivery from team
Provide technical guidance to members in both automation and manual tasks, reviewing their work items and ensuring high quality deliverables from team
Collaborate with Architects, development, and other engineering teams.
Participate in design reviews, documentation reviews, sprint planning, sprint demos.
Work with high velocity scrum teams.

Who we are looking for?

8+ years of experience in quality engineering
Hands-on with automation framework development, automation testing, manual testing.
Expertise in Python, Pytest, RestAPI testing.
Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
Worked on testing microservices and complex distributed systems
Quality enthusiastic, continuously improving on test deliverables and raising the quality bar for all products.
Experience in working with database verifications, writing SQL queries, know-how of NoSQL Databases.
Should have worked in CI/CD delivery model using Jenkins or any other tools
Able to delivery in fast paced agile delivery model.
Good troubleshooting and debugging knowledge.
Good communication skills written and verbal.

Good to have:

Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ
Used tools like Jira, confluence, Perforce, Github, splunk, Jenkins.
Education Required:

Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
