Job Description

Must have:

• Expert in Power Supply design
• Experience using semiconductors such as MOSFET or IGBT
• Capable of designing hardware’s

Good to Have skill set

• 5+ years of experience in Power electronic design
• The design engineer shall be capable of designing analog/digital circuits with proper choice of semiconductors IGBT’s MOSFET, SCR’s and magnetics
• Hands on experience on semiconductors such as IGBT’s MOSFETs etc. with knowledge on different converter topologies
• Design of EMC filters and PFC chokes, and knowledge on related IEC, UL standards.
• Capable of analog circuit design, simulation using Pspice and OrCAD, PSIM and MATLAB
• Shall have experience in design and testing (as per IEC standards) of HF Transformers, Inductors.
• Capable of designing signal conditioning circuits using op amp and comparators
• Closed loop control design using analog and digital PWM controllers.
• Use the ECAD tools such as Altium, OrCAD Capture/Allegro & Zuken CR5000 for library part creation, Schematic generation, and generating necessary Gerber files for manufacturing.
• Interact with global Electrical/Mechanical Engineers (India, Sweden, Poland and USA) to accomplish design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and design for test (DFT) according to industry standards such as IEC, IPC etc
• should be proficient in English
