Financial Analyst – Mumbai office
Job Description
The Role This position will be responsible for Treasury matters in India with involvement in debt financing and capital structuring. The financial analyst will work closely with Treasury team in Singapore HQ to ensure alignment with Cleantech Group’s policies.
Job Responsibilities – – – – – – – – – – – – Maintain and manage existing loan portfolio in India including loan disbursement, allocation, post-loan management and reporting. Maintain relationship with banks and manage bank-related matters such as bank accounts, credit facilities, bank mandates, new loan applications etc. Support the implementation of debt financing and capital flow plan Responsible for preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports such as financial covenants calculation, credit rating etc for submission to Offtakers and regulatory authorities. Handle day-to-day treasury operations such as preparing loan payments, cash flow tracking, Bank Guarantee tracking, loan drawdown tracking, FX and interest rate exposure tracking, etc. Review and ensure compliance to group policies and standard operating procedures such as Treasury Policy, Hedging Policy, Counterparty Credit Risk monitoring, etc. Assist in cash flow planning of the group To act as liaison between Mumbai branch and HQ in Singapore. Understand company’s organizational structure and liaise with various internal stakeholders such as business development, project management, finance and accounting, asset management teams, IT, etc. Raise operation sheet in relation to treasury activities Review and recommend ways to optimize the operating system and process flow. Participate in system transformation Other ad-hoc duty related to treasury matters assigned
Key Requirements: – – – – – – – – – – Bachelor degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent, or other professional qualification such as CFA At least 2 years’ experience in audit or bank/financial institution is highly preferred; Good working proficiency in Microsoft suites Good communication skills Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision; Team player, meticulous and responsible in closing the task that assigned; Financial modelling skill will be an advantage Proactive, resourceful and analytical Competent in engaging and managing internal and external clients Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
