Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the systems and applications in a variety of SaaS applications including Okta (identify Management), Google Workspace (formerly called GSuite), VoIP services, team collaboration applications, and End-point devices management, Microsoft office365 subscription and others. You will manage/approve users, assign system roles, run reports, and other administration tasks in the system.
Responsibilities/What You’ll Do:
● Act as the System and Application owner.
● Monitor applications on a regular basis to ensure the performance, reliability and security.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure the system/application configuration and data integrity.
● Be the primary responsibility ownership during problem resolution.
● Troubleshooting to identify root cause, analyze problems and implement and document permanent corrective action to resolve issues.
● Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper integration is in place.
● Work with application vendors between business relationships, service design and troubleshooting.
● Develop test plans, communicate changes, create and maintain technical documentation and procedure. Provide advice and develop training plans and material to the Helpdesk agents, and conduct training sessions.
● Work closely with the compliance & internal audit team to ensure appropriate controls and audit logs are in place.
● Enable best practices and process automation.
● Provide end-user support to system users including monitoring and timely responses to helpdesk tickets, escalating tickets with the vendor, assisting with troubleshooting and obtaining problem details, and other user support functions.
Qualifications
● Minimum 5 years of related experience in IT/software systems or equipment.
● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an IT-related field.
● Knowledge of SaaS Services, i.e. Okta, Google GSuite, Microsoft Office365/Azure, Zoom/WebEx, and VoIP services.
● Experience administering directory services/identity management.
● Knowledge of TCP/IP, data protocols and network deployment, familiarity with corporate networking, including DNS, DHCP, etc.
● Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to complete work and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
● Ability to work in an environment that involves remote interaction with other teams.
● Self‐motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative.
● Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Experience:
● Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory.
● Experience with end-point management or security application.
● Familiar with some virtualization technologies including AWS, Azure, VMWare.
● Familiar with Linux OS, Window OS and virtualization environment.
● Experience in phone systems or VoIP services.
● Writing scripting for administration, monitoring and automation tasks (shell, python, etc.).
