This position will report into SaaS IT Specialist.
Core responsibilities of this position are:

• Provides expert level Tier 3 technical infrastructure support services for issues elevated from the Support Center and other Technical Services groups. Ensures reliable operation of production. Diagnoses and troubleshoots availability interruptions and other production issues.
• Plans and implements new technologies and major releases for the most critical enterprise-wide IT infrastructure projects. Tests, installs, and migrates software, patches, upgrades, proxies, applications, and/or hardware.
• Communicates with IT groups to assess systems risks on those areas and to keep groups apprised of systems issues that may have an impact on those areas, including projected down times and business risks. Communicates with IT vendors to research and resolve issues.
• Maintains, monitors, and tunes Production system and applications performance.
• Performs capacity planning activities.
• Writes documentation, including project plans, backup plans, business continuance, installation procedures, and troubleshooting tips. Creates diagrams, including technical topology.
• Adds, updates, and closes IT Problem Management database records. Researches and resolves the most complex issues, and reviews related technology records to mitigate impact on assigned system.
• Reviews numerous IT knowledge repositories to update technical knowledge.
• Thoroughly understands and complies with IT policies and procedures, especially those for quality and productivity standards that enable the team to meet established client service levels.
• Thoroughly understands and complies with Information Security policies and procedures. Verifies deliverables meet Information Security and VSA requirements.

Requirements:

• Strong in Support and implementation
• Solid experience with IT Infrastructure Operations and Support.
• 3-8 years of professional experience (Team handling must for Lead role)
• Expertise in managing Linux OS (RHEL or CentOS) and service like Samba, Apache, Iptables, SFTP & FTP
• Experience in scripting using any of Bash/Shell/python/ruby.
• Experience with software load balancers, proxies, webservers etc.
• Good knowledge in Server hardware and troubleshoot ( Dell & IBM )
• Good understanding of Network, DNS.
• Experience in managing Production servers.
• Good knowledge of Linux server security and Backup.
• Should be able to plan an execute IT projects/tasks independently.
• Monitoring tools experience ( PRTG, Zenoss&Nagios )

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architectures, Java and Database solutions
• Deep understanding and practical working knowledge of Puppet, Chef, Jenkins
• ROI analysis in comparison of as-is vs. to-be state of environments, and processes
• Experience with Infrastructure security is a plus
• Strong understanding of Saas, AWS, Production Support, ITIL
• Experience with Infrastructure security is a plus
• Nice to have knowledge of Windows Server administration & Troubleshooting.
• Nice to have – Good knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc.
• Nice to have knowledge in Network (Switches, Router & Firewall )
