Job Title – Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager – Electrical Production

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic engineering or equivalent with experience in the manufacturing process.

Total 12-15 years of experience in Electrification production (preferably Electric / Electronic companies or Automobile companies)

Minimum 5 years of Managerial experience with people leadership and budget responsibility

Experience in working across functional/business lines in a global organization.

Financial and commercial business understanding

Excellent knowledge on operations, production and supply chain management

Experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Project and change management skills.

Good knowledge on automation systems

Knowledge on labour laws and industrial relations

Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Ability to provide feedback both orally and in writing.

Problem-solving ability.

Key Skills

What will you be doing?

Leading people

Leads people by setting meaningful targets, by demonstrating hands-on attitude, by making fact-based decisions timely and by coaching subordinates to excel

Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop industrial engineering staff to ensure their work meets established targets and standards.

Monitors production process/performance indicators and reacts to any deviation/negative trend.

Supports continuous improvement.

Sets the right tone for the production teams to enforce KONE values and strategic initiatives.

Safety and Quality

Safe and efficient workplace according 5S procedures

Employees have needed training and awareness for safety and environmental aspects, and they are following instructions and policies.

Ensures that production machines & methods are safe and fulfil all codes & legal requirements.

Ensures that production quality controls are thoroughly prepared and fully implemented.

Ensures that production outputs always fulfil Voice of Customer driven critical-to-quality items.

Ensures that production methods & execution are of high efficiency.

Business specific topic / Main role responsibilities

In accordance with the targets in the manufacturing area in KSU, implements all the actions required (in cooperation with his direct reports and with the other dotted functions) to reach the yearly, monthly and weekly goals respecting the requirements for Quality, Punctuality and costs.

Evaluate the recommendations of industrial engineers to ensure they are accurate and consistent with the organization’s short-term production plans.

Lead the most complex, large, or difficult process engineering projects and develop innovative approaches to production problems.

Contribute to the development of operating budgets for the process engineering unit. Monitor industry trends, and developments in engineering technology; evaluate and recommend investments in equipment, systems, or other assets that will improve the organization’s production capabilities.

Work actively with all the teams to create the culture of the continuous improvement in the manufacturing and the team development.

Maintain strong connections with other colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.

Sets and monitors performance of the factory against standards & targets in the areas of manufacturing & administration efficiency, cost control and human resource management.

Develops and implements a variety of operating policies & procedures to ensure that factory meets the current and future production targets and quality standards.

Allocates labour and capital resources to maximise productivity.

Ensures that own and subcontracted employees follow KONE procedures and policies.

Monitors production relevant customer/internal feedbacks and sets corrective actions.

Ensures that competences are up-to date & matching with current & future needs of the factory.

Maintains skill matrixes and organizes trainings to guarantee his/her unit is constantly competent.

Initiates investments in technology, systems or other assets to improve factory’s capabilities.

Ensures that new global processes, tools & products get implemented professionally in the units.
