Job Description:

  • BIW/Frame Advance phase Geometry Design development & Execution for new car models.
  • Define Control plan for the product line & perform BIW/Frame Geometry Design feasibility studies.• Develop, Propose, negotiate & release BIW incoming parts & inhouse processed product tolerancing, & develop datum plan /PLP. Should Worked in Automobile OEM; in BIW/Frame geometry and /or process engineering• New Model End to End at least one cycle CATIA hands on Experience; Unigraphics Experience would be added advantage• Well Experienced with Weld shop Metrology- Checking fixtures CMM m/c• Knowledgeble in all types of Hemming process and C/Measure.• Knowledgeable in plastic part tolerancing & Vehicle on wheels.• Should have Knowledgeable in DVA process – input process & output inference• Knowledgeable with statistical tools & techniques.• Experienced with RFQ preparations, Line builder negotiations and tool design approval process.• During the newmodel fixture buy off participate in the analysis of hard points with the Supplier .• Has final responsibility for the conclusions and action plans.• Validate all required check points when reassembling jigs in plants.• Apply the drilled parts approach and adapt it to your project.• Organise the BIW /frame tuning in the field in the start-up phase.• Organize analyses and Facilitate corrective action plans• Output geometry indicators (Major, QP, 1D TCTR, etc.) via SIMAP• Participate in the project geometry committee, participate in AVES retrievals, and report problems encountered to the geometry team.• Provide tuning progress animation and convergence forecast on standard path.• Provide Milestone Notification package to Transverse Geometry Leader at each milestone• Make sure the 3D and 1D control plan runs smoothly
