Terra Motors designs and manufactures electric two wheelers and three wheelers with our well experienced Japanese engineers. Especially, our core technology is power train system including battery, charger, motor and controller. Our production plant is in India, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Japan.

Responsibilities :

Product Specification:

  • Collaborate with product management and cross-functional.
  • Teams to define technical specifications and requirements for new EV charger products.

Prototyping and Testing:

  • Build prototypes, conduct testing, and perform thorough.
  • Evaluations to verify product performance, reliability, and safety.

System Integration:

  • Integrate EV charger systems with existing infrastructure, software platforms, and smart grid technologies.

Standards and Compliance:

  • Stay up-to-date with EV charging standards and regulations, ensuring product designs meet all necessary certifications and compliance requirements.

Documentation:

  • Create detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, test plans, reports, and user manuals, to support the manufacturing and installation processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists, to drive successful product development and launch.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

  • Identify and resolve technical issues during product development, production, and customer deployment phases.

Industry Research:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape related to EV charging, and provide recommendations for innovation and improvement.
  • Experience with digital real-time simulators (i.e. Opal-RT, RTDS, Typhoon, etc.)

Proficiency in electrical system simulation programs (e.g. OpenDSS, GridLAB-D,MATLAB/Simulink).

  • Understanding of electric vehicle-related interface and communications standards CAN, SAE J1772, J2836, J2847, J3068, J3072, IEC 61851, ISO 15118, and CHAdeMO.
  • Experience on projects using smart grid controls interface systems including, SEP2.0, (IEEE 2030), ModBus, Open Charge Point Protocol, OpenADR, SOAP web, RESTful, and Cloud services.
  • Demonstrated interaction with cross-disciplinary research team and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education Qualification: B.Tech / Computer Science.
  • Experience: 3 – 5 years (Preferably EV Industry).
  • Salary: 6 LPA – 8 LPA (depends upon interview).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: ₹600,000.00 – ₹800,000.00 per year
