About the Role
This job involves identification of new customer value propositions that can then be converted into product offerings to support growth of SME banking segment of the Bank. To plan, develop, market and set up distribution of the new / existing products around Trade and Treasury requirements for MSME clients of the bank. Candidate is expected to monitor and measure the performance of the products after the launch and take necessary iterative efforts to drive the business growth expectation
Overall Job Description
A. Product management and development:
o Create SME product plans and roadmaps by identifying, analyzing and recommending newer markets, products and business streams for Trade, Forex and Treasury vertical within the bank.
o Work with Head of Products & Segmentation to identify Industry segments, collect and analyze feedback from sales team,lateral teams and other stakeholders to shape requirements, features and end products to target identified segments
o Ideate and develop new innovative digital products & journeys leveraging current ecosystem capabilities while being in line relevant Statutory guidelines and policies
o Plan the development, marketing and distribution of the product and continuously measure and monitor the performance of the products and platform post launch.
o Assume complete ownership of the customer journeys and funnels and work in-sync with other business stakeholders to optimize the same
o Produce and review product requirements documents
o Participate in growth activities and driving the innovation agenda of digital SME product team
B. Desired skill set.
o Experience as a Digital Product Manager in Bank/NBFC in SME segment, managing end-to-end customer experience involving multiple touch points
o Preference to candidates having exposure to Trade and Forex product and workflows; exposure to importers and exporters as a customer segment is desired
o Should be abreast with the latest digital tools, ecosystem capabilities and government guidelines
o Experience in product life-cycle management and stakeholder management
o Organizational and leadership abilities
o Excellent communication skills
o Should be able to be run independently with directional oversight and management support
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Education: MBA/PGDM
Work Experience: Essential requirement: 6 years of post MBA experience in product management including hands-on experience of product/portfolio as part of a digital team for banks / neo-banks / fintechs
