Emerson Hiring for Associate Production at CHENNAI, India Full Time

Job Summary:

By joining us as a Production Associate, under the mentorship of the Manager of Operations, you will make sure that our customers’ expectations and thus our goals are met by ensuring timely, cost and capacity-based production for our product line.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Review the production schedule from the Planning section, and prepare relevant resources.

• Supporting operators in case of any technical issue during assembly.

• Develop safe manufacturing processes to meet product requirements and test manufacturing methods

• Keep the workshop well organized and ensure instruments used for measurement and calibration are duly checked & calibrated and with relevant certificates;

• Perform duties and maintain the laboratory in 5S requirements.

• Convert and provide the documentation in the adequate form requested by the customer, maintaining the highest standards of presentation;

You keep in touch with customers, build the customer relationships, understand the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships. You include others in executing on decisions creating a buy in mentality, make new connections and build relationships in other areas and teams, focus on creating an effective collaborative style. You understand what you do well, and what areas still need development and mentor(s), identify your values and organizational priorities and learn to expand business knowledge, set development goals and prioritize them in a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-Bound) accountability.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the vital skills to successfully apply technology and systems specific to the department required.

• Generate monthly reports and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Diploma or equivalent experience in engineering or related subject area

• Knowledge on regulator assembly & testing fixtures etc.

• Awareness about EMS & ISO 45001 practices

• Experience in ISO 14001:2015 – ISO 45001:2018 – ISO 9001:2015 procedures & instructions
