The Role

As a Pricing focal, the resource will partner with the Client Solution Executive (CSE) and Engagement team leading large Complex commercial bids covering both Private and Public sector clients. The responsibilities include Pricing bids/proposals, Developing a Base case, Negotiating financial T&C’s with clients, reviewing RFP terms & conditions and providing heads on the exception ones to the teams, and guiding the engagement teams for a balanced approach taking into consideration Kyndryl objectives.

Collaborates with the Cross-Functional teams to assist and resolve non-pricing issues covering legal, accounting, procurement, and fulfillment. Has a comprehensive understanding of the Pricing Process, Delegations, Pricing Tools / Methodologies, financial terms and conditions, accounting, tax, and treasury practices along with the appropriate business controls about the pricing process.

Works with the Engagement teams to bring this forward to the leadership reviews highlighting the risks and opportunities of the engagement, making sure that all relevant approvals/interlocks have been done prior to give approval to the Engagement teams to submit the proposal/contract for signature.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• With a Bachelor’s or Professional degree in Finance / Commerce.

• At least 6-8 years experience in Finance and 3 years experience in IT Industry.

• In-depth understanding of financial statements & commercial terms and conditions.

• Knowledge and application of Accounting guidelines in the Pricing cases (Gross v Net, GRAT, separability, PoC, revenue and cost recognition, etc.).

• Proficiency in MS Office Applications.

• Communication and Presentation skills are mandatory.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience in Pricing of IT Solutions / Services is preferred
