Position Summary
System Administration – Assistant Manager
Have you been involved in maintenance and Administration of technical solutions earlier? At Deloitte, we provide you an opportunity to be an integral part of the Digital Enablement team that develops and supports various technical solutions. As a System Administrator, you will maintain and administer various Talent related systems and applications getting an opportunity to cater to the various Talent stakeholders.
Work you’ll do
Engineering of solutions for various project and operational needs.Install new / rebuild existing tools and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.Contribute to and maintain system standards.Develop and maintain installation and configuration proceduresCreate, change, and delete user accounts per requestMaintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.Identify improvements in the current existing processConduct knowledge sharing sessions to share processDemonstrates ability to define expectations and scope client assignments.Establishing trust as a go-to resource for clients.Able to deliver tough client feedback and recommendations.Demonstrates an ability to use various communication media and styles.Demonstrates a command of technical writing skills, including grammar and punctuation, so communications are free of typos, inconsistencies and errors.Manages to established firm standards for quality, service, and delivery i.e. delivering regular reports within time, checking mailbox to ensure timely delivery etc.Manage and build quality standards within the teamGathers and shares best practices and benchmarks.Manage and build sustainable business continuity plan for the team
The Team
The HR Strategy & Transformation is the HR services center for the U.S. organization across all regions. The Digital Enablement team is focused on developing business-aligned solutions that provide an enhanced employee experience through innovative solutions which are efficient and effective. Our goal is to deliver high-quality service through world class technology solutions, strategic reporting, data visualization and analytics.
Required
Must have strong communication skills (oral and written) to clarify requests, escalate issues, and writing analysesKnowledge on Business Tools like CRM’s & SAP systems etc.Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, often working under tight deadlinesStrong interpersonal traits including confidence, responsiveness, flexibility, initiative and decision makingQuickly learn new processAdapts to a changing environment and approaches challenges with creativity, resourcefulness in problem solving.Sense of urgency, works well under pressureAbility to work with confidential informationKeen attention to detail and data accuracy
Overall Expectations
Strong managerial, organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.Liaison with the US counterparts and internal clients to scope process requirements.Develop and manage project delivery processes, including production and quality assurance.Recruit, mentor, and administratively manage teams, including performance assessment.Strong mentoring and coaching abilities.Demonstrate very strong technical skills in MS Office suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, AccessKnowledge on team development, succession planning, change management, communication strategies and project management
