3M Technology Center of Excellence (TCOE) Hiring for Banking Infrastructure Specialist (Treasury & banking administration) at Bangalore Full Time

Position Summary

3M seeks a Treasury Analyst to support its growing global operations. The person will work both within Treasury and with a diverse set of cross-functional stakeholders along with external banking partners. This position requires a self-starter who will work to support Treasury processes, perform financial analyses, and generate reports for senior Treasury management. The successful candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, large data sets, and balancing multiple competing priorities. The role will require flexibility to work in various time zones.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Manage Level II (complex and non-standard) requests related to the user and bank account management processes.
• Perform user entitlement updates in the banking portals.
• Provide broad-based, analytical support to the Treasury team for global controls processes and initiatives.
• Helping in issuing Bank Guarantees basis request from business and others.
• Perform ad-hoc analytical projects to support the Senior Treasury Analyst and other members of the Treasury team.
• Own a queue of access requests and provide excellent customer service to internal 3M system users.
• Liaise with IT and provide support for testing and rollout of new software applications and upgrades.
• Continuously evaluate processes, implement learnings, and apply best practices
• Document complex technical flows and integration for team reference
• Provide timely, accurate, and concise communication to stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics or Accounting and 3 years of experience in the related field
• Practical knowledge of Accounting such as Debit/Credit, the ability to make Journal Entries for financial transactions, and reading the Financial Statements.
• Functional knowledge of core Treasury processes, including Bank Portal administration.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bank account opening and closing, handling Bank Guarantees/Letter of Credits, payments, etc.
• Experience with Data analytic and/or Workflow management tools (Power BI, Alteryx. Power App)
• Must have an obsession to work collaboratively for customer goals
• A strong desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Must be able to work independently with limited general supervision
• Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate across functional and technical lines are critical.
