Position Summary

3M seeks a FP&A, Analyst to support its growing global organisation, Corporate Shared Services (CSS). In this role you will work cross functionally (across 11 functions) to deliver insightful, actionable analytics and influential reporting packages to drive change and improved financial performance.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Produce Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly and ad hoc reporting of the results and drivers to Business.
• Collaborate with Finance leaders to develop a standard catalogue of financial reports and key operational metrics, delivered on a continuous basis, which drive action and deliver improved financial results
• Develop, consolidate and present insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis for quarterly/monthly/weekly forecasts and variances
• Drive value-add change by assisting in simplifying processes, accelerating automation/digitization, and enhancing analytics function
• Partner with the Corp. FP&A/functional/regional team to perform ad-hoc corporate financial planning & analysis as requested

Prepare a Long-Range Business Plan usingfinancialmodelling, forecasting, andanalysisto develop corporate objectives and predictfinancialoutcome

Additional Job Description

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Management or Economics,
• 7+ years of relevant FP&A experience in MNC (Multi-National Corporation)
• Background of operating effectively in a finance environment with experience in areas including data analysis, financial forecasting, variance analysis, reconciliations
• Experience in preparation of flash report / dashboards and management review packs
• Hands on experience in SAP FICO modules and cost management
• Highly experienced in using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Working experience of Power BI, SAP, Longview, Alteryx

Skills

• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Expert at data consolidation, analysis and Interpretation
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and SharePoint
• Ability to handle large data and derive meaningful information
• Ability to quickly understand and connect business drivers
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment (not only FP&A team but also across Finance)
• Strong operational mindset to create standardized, repeatable financial reports and deliver them with accuracy and timeliness
• Highly accountable and driven business professional
• Knowledge of MS Access, VBA, SQL (Desirable)
• Data modelling expertise leveraging Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA etc (desirable).
• Experience using R or Python in data analytics, data visualization and data management to synthesize findings from multiple sources (desirable)
