Position Summary

3M seeks a Senior Treasury Analyst to support its growing global operations. The person will work both within the Treasury and with a diverse set of cross-functional stakeholders along with external banking partners. This position requires a self-starter who will work to support Treasury processes, perform financial analysis, audit the Treasury processes and generate/submit reports for senior Treasury management. The successful candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, large data sets, and balancing multiple competing priorities. The role will require flexibility to work in various time zones.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Continuously strive for simplification and automation of operational tasks including integration with the bank partners where possible
• Measure and Drive SLAs of banking partners, monitor performance to ensure minimum service level adherence. Publish SLAs at a regular frequency
• Developing and maintaining operational processes through documentation updates and cross-training.
• Doing the audit of treasury activities and submitting the reports to the Treasury Leaders.
• Performing Sox testing of various treasury activities and ensuring the compliance to Sox requirements.
• Supporting Corporate Treasury needs and other ad hoc requests.
• Provide broad-based, analytical support to the Treasury team for global controls processes and initiatives.
• Perform ad-hoc analytical projects to support the Treasury team.
• Liaise with IT and provide support for testing and rollout of new software applications and upgrades.
• Continuously evaluate processes, implement learnings, and apply best practices
• Document complex technical flows and integration for team reference
• Provide timely, accurate, and concise communication to stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
• 2 to 6 years of internal audit in financial is must have.
• Functional knowledge of core Treasury processes, including cash positioning, forecasting, bank account management, payments, FX and settlement.
• Functional knowledge of core Finance processes, including accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, entity setup, and intercompany.
• Experience with Data analytic and/or Workflow management tools (Power BI, Alteryx. PowerApp)
