General Summary:
‘”Qualcomm is looking primarily for Windows Administrator with exposure to:
Windows Server 2012,2016 & 2019 Operating Systems & Power Shell
Virtualization technologies like VMWare, Hyper-V (Optional)
In-depth familiarity and strong troubleshooting skills in Windows 2012,2016,2019. Good Working knowledge on Windows server Patching & Troubleshooting.
Administration of physical and virtual infrastructure hosts in complex heterogeneous environments
Azure Cloud compute, network & Monitoring knowledge
Windows Clustering (Traditional & Always On) and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of all NAS/SAN protocols and how to implement
Troubleshoot VMware-ESX-related incidents
Dell, HP & Supermicro Enclosures/Blade hardware platform is a plus.
Partnering with different representatives across the company
After-hours escalations relating to critical business activities
Knowledge transfer among multiple team members and sharing of service responsibilities
Relevant certifications (ITIL, MCSE-Server, etc..) will be a strong plus.
Ticket management tools (Tools),
Being a team player.
Manage/handle Sev 1 tickets on priority.
Operational support (Shifts) 24/7 IT services.
This role requires the selected person to work in shifts in a 24X7 production environment

5+years of experience in Window Server, Server hardware, and Azure.
Experience with hardware vendors like (but not restricted to) HP, Dell, Super Micro, servers – Exposure to NAS, SAN storage technologies and VMware virtualized platforms. A person should have Good exposure to Microsoft windows server patching & Clustering. Should have Good Communication Skills.
