• Writes,tests,anddocumentstechnicalworkproducts(e.g.,code,scripts,processes)according to organizational standards and practices
• Devotestimetoraisingthequalityandcraftsmanshipofproductsandsystems
• Conductsrootcauseanalysis toidentifydomain-levelproblemsandprescribesaction items to mitigate
• Designsself-containedsystemswithinthe team’sdomain, andleadsimplementationsof significant capabilities in existing systems
• Coachesteammembersintheexecutionoftechniquestoimprovereliability,resiliency, security, and performance
• Decomposesintricate andinterconnecteddesigns intoimplementationsthatcanbe effectively built and maintained by less experienced engineers
• Anticipatestroubleinsystems underdevelopmentandguidestheteamin instrumentation practices to ensure observability and supportability
• Definestestsuitesandinstrumentationthatensurestargets forlatencyandavailabilityare being consistently met in production
• Leadsthroughexamplebyprioritizingtheclosureofopenvulnerabilities
• Evaluatespotentialattacksurfacesinsystemsunderdevelopment,identifiesbestpracticesto mitigate, and guides teams in their implementation
• Leadsteamintheidentificationofsmallbatches ofworktodeliverthehighestvalue quickly
• Ensuresreuseisafirst-class considerationinallteamimplementationsandisapassionate advocate for broad reusability
• Formallymentorsteammatesandhelpsguide themtoandalongneeded learning journeys
• Observetheirenvironmentandidentifyopportunitiesforintroducingnewapproaches toproblems

MinimumQualifications-Education&PriorJobExperience:

• Bachelor’sdegree inComputerScience, ComputerEngineering,Technology, InformationSystems(CIS/MIS),Engineeringorrelatedtechnicaldiscipline,orequivalentexperience/training
• 3+yearsofexperiencedesigning,developing,andimplementinglarge-scalesolutions in production environments
