About The Work From Home Job/internship

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Developing political content for social media (e.g., writing concise and informative tweets for the official platforms)
• Identify emerging trends and patterns in political news coverage
• Select and curate political news stories that are of particular relevance to our organization and stakeholders
• Assisting the social media team in developing content for political campaigns and leaders’ press conferences
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
• Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the target audience’s attention
• Contribute to the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum experience of 1-6 months in the content team of a news publication’s digital news section or for a political PR company
• Candidates with coursework or specialization in journalism, marketing, English/Hindi, political science, or a related field are preferred
• Proven content writing or copywriting experience
• Proficiency in English (spoken & writing) and in Hindi (spoken & writing)
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English or Hindi
• Proficiency to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines effectively
• Effective communication skills
