Accounting & Reporting Specialist – General Accounting

This is an Accounting and reporting Analyst-General Accounting role , reporting to Manager and will be a part of GBS located in Bangalore. You will be responsible to provide accounting, reporting and consolidation expertise. Supports accounting and reporting matters to business/reporting units through resolution of accounting and reporting questions, financial statement reviews and preparation, as well as follow-up on accounting issues. Support preparation of financial reports in compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions.
• Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies.
• Producing reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statements of sourcing.
• Processing entire Fixed asset related transaction.
• Overseeing the closing of monthly accounts of CAPEX, manage the CAPEX control and approval process.
• Ensure proper accounting procedure over fixed asset acquisition, transfer, impairment, write-off, and disposal.
• Ensure all monthly closing tasks are completed and FA module are closed on time as per schedule
• Review and reconcile monthly fixed asset movement report on regular intervals and co- ordinating Audit queries.

Your background

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 2 to 3 years experience on SAP/Oracle and R2R.
• Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
