Job SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for supporting end-to-end pan India distribution process- (Primary/Inbound & Secondary / Outbound). This role involves management of external vendors (Global freight forwarders, CHAs, CFAs etc.) & close interactions with key internal stakeholders (Sales & marketing, Plants, Finance, Quality, Regulatory affairs, Compliance/Legal etc.). Identifying & supporting best practice/ procedures for standardizing and optimizing the distribution of product throughout the supply chain.
The role is also responsible for ensuring compliance of processes, timely risk projections, monitoring & publishing key metrics of Allergan’s businesses, including performance metrics of vendors & CFAs

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensuring hygiene in system for CFA expenses, primary, secondary transportation including route mapping, logistic control, handling cost of Product and as well optimum utilization of warehouse Space & impact assessment
Review of service levels, Customer Fill Rates, CFAs/LSP performances and benchmarking of KPIs
GTC site coordinator for India
Manage day to day communication on import/exports. Single point of contact for all freight forwarders and Customs Brokers in India.
Manage activities on Export markets.
Manage all Material Movements in SAP for all discrepancies & saleable returns
Manage Batch creations & amendments by working closely with CFAs
Manage all issues related to Transporter (pick-up / delivery)
Verification of Stocks reconciliation Report, Month-end Physical Verification report
Management of complaints with QA on shortage/excess/damaged
Ensure timely coordination for destruction activity at CFA
Ensure timely response for Internal / external audit queries

Strategic Projects (Supply Chain)
Support strategic projects (like Network optimization, Secondary logistics route analysis, ERP implementation etc.) establishing full project plans, including timeline, risk assessment, contingency/mitigation planning, communication planning. Evaluates and adds details to project plan in conjunction with all participating departments.
Support the execution of the project plan by the project team, and lead any required problem solving or conflict resolution effort
Discusses project progress with the project team and key stakeholders on a regular basis, and provides timely updates on project changes, risk assessment and/or other issues affecting project execution according to the project plan.

Qualifications
job QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):
Education and Experience
Master’s degree (in Business or engineering & minimum of 4 years of experience Pharma Supply Chain/Distribution/Projects/Import & Exports
Bachelor’s degree (in life science or engineering such as B.Tech, B.Pharm etc.) & minimum 7 years of experience in Pharma/FMCG.

Experience in working internationally in a fast paced, reputable global Biotech / Pharmaceutical or Consumer company organized in a matrix structure
