Project Role Description :Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations requirements. Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements. Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software and security.

Key Responsibilities : 1 Engineering, performance management, and administration of the IBM AIX and Power hardware 2 Working on the requests of development and support team on staging and UAT setup 3 Hardening of servers as per the client policy 4 Collaborate with L1 support teams, development teams, and clients to investigate on the issues 5 Analyze system logs, diagnostic data, and performance metrics to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions

Technical Experience : 1 Solid understanding of AIX system administration, user administration, file/directory permissions, LVM, maintenance of software and system patches, TCP/IP concepts, NFS, NIS, DNS, storage concepts, performance tuning 2 Working experience with Power VM/VIOS, HMC, 3 Virtualization, NPIV, SAN-attached storage, NIM Migration of AIX from 61 to 71 and 72 4 Minimum of 8 plus years of experience in an Linux/AIX environment
