Project Role :Data Centre Operator

Project Role Description :Manage day-to-day activities of a data center, including physical and security checks, physical tape/media management, assistance with physical vendor intervention (e.g. replacement of a part), act as “remote hands” for the administrator.

Key Responsibilities : 1 Troubleshooting experience on hardware like Tape libraries, storage disks 2 Provide support 24/5 support and on-call support over weekends 3 Experience on incident/change and problem management 4 Provide ongoing management and improvement of activities related to enterprise storage and backup infrastructure, 5 Improve, develop and maintain automation of daily tasks,

Technical Experience : 1 Strong technical skills on CommVault and other backup tools like Avamar, Netbackup and Backup Exec 2 Maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting backup issue and provide day-to-day technical support production backup systems, 3 Experience on resolving the Auxiliary copy and data ageing backup job operations 4 Experience on VMWare and Agent level backup troubleshooting skills 5 Experience on configuring backup type, Exchange, NDMP, SQL, Unix and Windows
