Project Role Description :Provides assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud. Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using private and public cloud technologies driving next-generation business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities : Typically, the database administrator DBA is responsible for ensuring the success of the migration process The DBA is usually involved in each step of the process, except for steps that involve testing applications on the migrated database

Technical Experience : Meeting with everyone involved in the migration process and clearly defining their roles during migration Configuring Different migration tools like DMS and other tools if required Performing test migrations Preparing the PostgreSQL Migration methods or steps to complete the DB migration Scheduling the test and production migration process Performing backups from On-Prem PostgreSQL database and restoring them to Azure PostgreSQL PaaS database Experience on the production database Cutovers

Professional Attributes : Should have good client facing experience

Educational Qualification : Graduate

Additional Information : Should have PostGresSQL, MySQL DB Migration engineer certification
