Project Role :Infra Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role Description :Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities : A: Create and manage database, schema, roles and privileges B: Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases C: Prepare documentations and specifications D: Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc E: Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Technical Experience : A: Should have 7 plus years experience of Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL database management B: Installing software and Creating database C: Performing upgrades of the database and software to new release levels D: Experience with cluster configuration and maintenance E: Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in PostgresSQL F: Managing objects, such as schemas, tablespaces, tables G: Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements H: Performance Parameters and changes
