Project Role :Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description :Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities : A-Should have strong Redhat Linux administration B-Administering Linux patching tools like Redhat Satellite C-Administering Centralized user authentication setup for software like Redhat directory server/ Open LDAP etc D-Experience in hardening the Linux OS E-Managing OS native services NTP, DNS, LDAP F-Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements

Technical Experience : A-Should know how to debug/troubleshoot CPU, Memory, Disk issues B-Good knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process and Run levels C-Hands-on experience of system management, system setup and managing Linux D-Good understanding of Backup Storage E-Experience in Remote Server Management using DRAC F-Monitoring various hardware issue ie CPU failure, CPU Fan Failure, Memory Module failure, RAID failure etc G-Experience in Managing and Monitoring VMs, Storage and Switch

Professional Attributes : A-Good to have skills of Solaris Administration B-Ability to work independently to manager large group of resources C-Ability to manage the details of compliance with policies, standards and industry frameworks D-Be able to work under pressure in a challenging environment

Educational Qualification : UG :BCA in Computers, BSc in Any Specialization, BTech/BE in Any Specialization
