Assistant Manager
Sofitel Mumbai BKC is seeking a reliable and engaging Assistant Manager to join the team. As one of three Assistant Managers, you will demonstrate the essence of creating an exceptional guest journey by managing the day-to-day hotel operations in this luxury hotel. During the evening and weekend shifts, you will act as the responsible Manager, representing the hotel in the absence of senior management.

What you will be doing:
Assist the Front Office Manager to lead and supervise the front office team and day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring service standards are followed
Provide memorable, caring, friendly and engaging service
Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying problem areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
Ensure employees are informed daily about priorities to personalize service
Review daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of VIPs, return guests and groups

Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
Knowledge of all Rooms Division areas including Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping and Guest Services
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills and the ability to lead by example
