About the Role

To join our team as Study Abroad Counselors, we’re seeking enthusiastic people (Career Strategists) who put the needs of the students first. They are in charge of fostering relationships with the students and eventually guiding them through our premium servicing process.

The Study Abroad Counselors (Career Strategists), who are the student’s main point of contact, are in charge of ensuring their satisfaction and contentment in general. She/He is supposed to pass the servicing funnel and continually give students great advice.

By closely collaborating on new experiments, R & D, and the product to boost the servicing cycle of the business overall, the Study Abroad Counselors (Career Strategists) will also be required to drive the entire servicing vertical of the business.

They are expected to support their students throughout their study abroad experience, from narrowing down universities to enhancing their resumes to ensure they are accepted to their top choice institution!

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the students, including onboarding of the student profile, educating them about the procedure, thorough counseling, strengthening of the profile, and admissions.

• Develop a deep understanding of the entire study abroad admissions process and application cycle for countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Germany etc.

• Develop a strong built relationship with students as a mentor for the entire process.

• Build and review the progress of every student application on an ongoing basis to understand the stage of the student and next steps.

• Building cross-discipline relationships in the organization, partnering closely with the BDMs, Marketing, Admissions and VISA.

• Ensure top quality admission work like Essays, SOPs and related documents.

• Counsel students regarding post admission services like career planning, accommodations and part time jobs.

• Advise students on application procedures, visa applications, applying for accommodation, and preparing students for their studies overseas.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 1 Year of Experience in a similar position is a must, specially with prior knowledge about USA Educational and VISA application.

• Excellent command of spoken and written English as well as the local language.

• Should possess good customer service skills and willingness to assist students and parents with any queries they might have during phone conversations.

• Should be Result-oriented and able to work under pressure to achieve targets.

• Should have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and others from diverse social backgrounds.

• Should have the ability to understand the national business market

• Must be dynamic, ambitious, and honest

• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

• Must have Sound judgment

• Ready to create a massive and direct impact in lives across the globe
