In 2019, Adani Airports won a competitive tendering process held by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to modernize and operate six airports across India, including Guwahati. Adani Airports will manage, operate, and develop all these six airports for the next 50 years.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Manager at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd in Guwahati. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for managing projects at the airport, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating with various stakeholders such as airlines and vendors, monitoring key performance indicators, and playing a critical role in the growth and profitability of the airport.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in EC, IT, or any related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in airport operations, management, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and people management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of airport operations, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to handle emergency situations and make critical decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Certification in aviation management or operations is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders including airlines, government agencies, vendors, and airport staff.
- A strong customer service mindset is essential.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment is an advantage.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Hindi or any other Indian language will be an advantage.
