Adani Green Energy Ltd. Looking For General Manager – Land Acquisition at Rajasthan, Full Time

Purpose

The General Manager – Land Acquisition is responsible for strategically planning and executing the annual programme for renewable energy projects. This role involves overseeing all aspects of land acquisition, development, and liaising with government and private sector organizations. The incumbent will play a crucial role in identifying potential solar and wind sites, sourcing suitable land parcels, and ensuring adherence to environmental and social governance statutes.

Experience

20 to 25 years of experience in land acquisition, preferably in the renewable energy industry.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Planning & Scheduling annual programme and strategy for making the project happen.
• Being accountable for all aspects of land acquisition and development of sites as per project requirements.
• Identifying potential solar and wind sites for new projects.
• Sourcing Suitable Land Parcels.
• Sourcing Suitable Land Aggregators.
• Conducting analysis of land with respect to the feasibility of the project.
• Arranging Topographical Survey of Land.
• Managing day-to-day activities of land procurement function in terms of coordination with landowners, agencies, government agencies, and consultants.
• Arranging land documentation and due diligence through legal team & law firm.
• Evaluating the economic viability of land procurement to execute within stipulated budget.
• Responsible for discussing and negotiating with landowners and aggregators to finalize land procurement deals.
• Liasoning with Govt. departments, Public & Private sector organizations.
• Coordinating with different stakeholders of Projects, Legal & Finance to successfully run multiple land acquisition projects simultaneously and ensure project consistency with time and scope.
• Making available the site and providing necessary liaison and ROW support to the construction team during the construction period.
• Conducting frequent site visits to different project sites and coordinating with the site team on a daily basis to lead site progress as per baseline & priorities.
• Adhering to ESG (Environment & Social Governance) statutes and norms.
• Adhering to Government and local rules and norms.
• Tracking daily, weekly, and monthly progress.
• Preparing MIS reports and other management costing reports.
• Satisfying Lenders requirement.

Education Qualification

Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Certification Required

Professional certification in Project Management, Real Estate Management, or related field is preferred.
