Responsible for Procurement of Fuel and Dredging O & M under category MRO (Material & Services).
Responsible for purchasing of Services /spares /consumables, identification/negotiation/issue/renewal/closure of contracts, developing and implementing best purchasing practices in dredging procurement.
Maintain the 100% availability of Services/spares/consumables at optimal cost.
7-10 Years procurement experience, preferably in Dredging/ marine/ Continuous process operation
Hands on experience of handling commodity buying viz. Fuel, Lubes, Paints etc.
OEM/ NON OEM Spares and General consumables viz., OEM Spares, hardware, Pipeline, Bearings, Workshop general tools & tackles, compound & adhesive, gaskets, fasteners, Electrical & instrument items, HDPE/ PP piping & fittings, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance to Quality, Legal, financial and safety norms in contracts
2. Improve the internal customer satisfaction index
3. Benchmark purchasing practices and implement the same at APSEZ/SSIDPL dredging BU.
Operational Responsibilities
1. Plan and maintain the service contract availability/Raw Materials/Spares / Consumables as per the standard operating procedures (SOP) & DOA.
2. Ensure supply/service Contracts are issued/renewed on time
3. Standardize contractual frameworks by incorporating e.g. safety, fuel escalation, liability on account of handling losses.
4. Monitor compliance of all material/service purchasing.
5. Formulation of Annual Rates Contracts for Dredging material/ Services.
6. Transaction Reduction by consolidation of requirement
