Adani Group Treasury has various functions like FX & Rates risk management, market research, investments management, trade finance and debt capital market. Fx Risk management for businesses is one of the primary responsibilities of Treasury. Fx risk arises on account of non-INR borrowings, Trade Credit, and Import/Exports. The incumbent joining us as Fx Trader will be responsible for managing these risks for businesses and for generating revenues / saving costs by actively managing these risks.

Key Areas of Accountability

• Be a part of the Group Treasury Team, which actively manages market risks faced by businesses within Adani Group.
• Generate Revenues by actively managing Fx Risks though various market traded Fx Products like Spot, Forwards, currency swaps and options
• Provide regular inputs and views to team members in the Foreign Exchange Space to identify opportunities for generating returns and managing risks in the portfolio
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and limits

• Adani Group is a diversified conglomerate with business interests in vastly different businesses. A key challenge for anyone joining the team would be to understand the complexities and interactions of these varied businesses
• The scale of operation and the size of underlying exposures is big compared to most corporate houses. One of the challenges would be getting used to this scale fast
• Productivity – Revenue expectations would be high

• Revenue from active risk management – USD 3-4 Mn
• Focus on getting the best execution on the hedge book – Pricing, credit spreads, market timing
• Actively contribute to the team through market views, research and ideation
• Engage with all stakeholders and build a sound understanding of key businesses and processes

Qualifications:

• Professional or Masters degree with financial acumen (CA / MBA)

Experience:

7 – 10 years relevant experience with a Bank/Corporate

A Proven Track record of generating revenues
