Adani Group Hiring for Generator & Excitation at Udipi, Karnataka Full Time
Responsible for efficient, quality, and reliable maintenance of Generator, Auxiliary & Excitation system, HT< switchgears, HT & LT motors, Power & Distribution Transformers.
Responsible for maintenance of critical equipment like Generator, Transformers, HT and LT motors & switchgears in BTG areas, GRP, AVR, Battery systems, by supporting operation in achieving goal & target of the business unit.
Responsible for cost reduction & cost control in maintenance activities
Identification of spares and maintaining inventory
Responsible for effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of different Preventive, predictive, routine, shutdown & breakdown maintenance work activities of main plant electrical equipment’s.
Responsible for handling Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts Management, billing, time punch calculations of manpower’s for various skilled technical maintenance activities.
Monitor contract supervisors & their workers and lead them to provide quality maintenance.
Responsible for cost reduction & cost control in maintenance activities.
Technical/engineering expertise & guidance in identifying, fault analysis and resolution of problems of electrical maintenance.
Supervise preliminary/fault condition inspections and repairs of Generator stator core, Rotor, terminal bushing & other related axillaries, supervise Electrical NDT (DC & AC) & mechanical testing on Generator main components, Exciter & auxiliary equipment’s of 500MW and above, THDF type Generator & it’s AVR during overhauls.
Perform PM, RM, CBM, break down maintenance
Continuous equipment monitoring & RCA, trending of various electrical tests in the assigned area.
Interface with other departments in supporting plant PLF, Heat Rate, and other important goals
Commission of new electrical installation system
Knowledge of all electrical equipment, maintenance of generator, transformers, relays, relay setting & trouble shooting.
Ensuring zero accident, sustaining high level of generation by minimizing unit outages, Trouble Shooting, Spare planning
Preparation & review of scope of works for contracts & technical details of spares and equipment
