Principal Accountabilities: Maintain quality and quantity of DM and service water. To operate PT-RO-DM plant in efficient manner with optimization of Process chemicals. Optimum utilization of manpower during own shift. Generating shift-wise water generation and consumption reports,

Updating of process data in system, maintaining log books etc.

Generation of potable water of prescribed quality by proper dosing of chemicals and supply to various locations as per requirement

Sampling and testing of bulk chemicals received during shift.

Operation of fire water pump house in coordination with MCR.

Implementation of IMS, 5S and safety process in work area.

Role & Responsibilities : Control and operation of RO Desalination Plant, DM Plant, EC plant, Effluent plant and laboratory functions during shift. Responsible for principle accountabilities mentioned above. Defect notification & coordination with maintenance departments maintenance of equipment’s in area of working. Coordination with CCR shift in-charge for operational activities. Implementation of safety processes & excellence projects in work area. To maintain laboratory analysis of various water and coal samples as per ISO:17025 standards

Qualifications

Essential Qualification: B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the subjects.

Desired Qualification: M.Sc. Chemistry

Essential Area of Expertise: To know Water treatment process, Boiler water chemistry and laboratory analysis.

Desired Area of Expertise:. knowledge of water treatment, boiler water chemistry and laboratory analysis.

Critical/ Special exposure: having good analytical knowledge of laboratory analysis. Operation of RO-DM plant and regeneration of CPU and mix bed.
