Job Objective

Operation of both the Units in optimum Manner. Identify and communicate Defects to Various maintenance Departments and coordinate with all the Maintenance Departments for attending troubles. Also required to conduct start-up / shut down & Emergency Handling of Plant

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities

• To motivate team members for continuous learning.
• To ensure team members must be acquainted with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 45001, Chetana project & DISHA Process.
• To ensure presentation of technical topics.
• To give training to Local Supervisor and new joiners.
• Outage Analysis and Troubleshooting.
• Monitoring of Water chemistry parameters.

Operational Responsibilities

• To guide Boiler Field / TG Field engineers and BOP Field Engineers for operation in optimum manner.
• PTW Issue & Normalization : To Ensure safe isolation of Equipment for issue of PTW & normalization of same after return of PTW.
• Start Up, Shut Down and handling of Various Emergencies.
• Equipment Availability: To Ensure Standby Equipment Availability.
• Operation of Power Plant in optimum Manner.
• Hot / Warm/Cold Start Up and Shut Down of the Unit in safe manner.
• To Guide Field Engineers during Start Up, Shut Down and Emergencies
• To ensure trial of Emergency Equipment
• To ensure changeover of equipment
• Consolidation of defects and ensuring rectification of same by maintenance department. Assist Training Department to organize IT Related trainings for End-users

People Management

• Conduct fire safety training as a proactive measure
• Development of the business associates to work with Safety and efficiency

Educational Qualification:

• B.E. / B.Tech : Mechanical or Electrical

Experiences:

• Thorough knowledge of processes in the Thermal Power Plant.
• Operations of Thermal Power Plant.
• Grid code understanding.
• SAP Knowledge.
