RESPONSIBILITIES

We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager – Civil to lead and manage civil construction activities at our thermal power plant site. The ideal candidate will bring 7–12 years of hands-on experience in executing large-scale infrastructure projects, especially in BTG, BOP, Boiler, Turbine, and structural works within greenfield and brownfield environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction for thermal power plant components including BTG, BOP, Boiler, Turbine, and structures.
• Plan, schedule, and execute civil works in line with project timelines and safety standards.
• Prepare, review, and validate civil engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Manage site execution, including contractor coordination, resource planning, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory norms, safety protocols, and engineering standards.
• Provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to project leadership.

Technical Competencies

• Thermal Power Plant Civil Construction – Deep understanding of civil works in power generation infrastructure.
• BTG/BOP/Boiler/Structure Execution – Proven experience in handling complex structural components.
• Civil engineering Drawings review and reading – Skilled in preparing and reviewing civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Project Site Execution – Strong command over on-site operations, including manpower, materials, and machinery.
• Quality & Safety Compliance – Familiarity with ISO standards, safety audits, and construction best practices.
• Project Coordination – Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 7–12 years in civil construction, preferably in thermal power plant projects
• Skills: Project planning, site execution, drawing review, team leadership, and vendor management
