• Develop and implement land acquisition strategies in alignment with project requirements and business goals.
• Lead negotiations with landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to acquire land for thermal projects.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and environmental standards during the land acquisition process.
• Manage a team of land acquisition professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve objectives.
• Conduct due diligence on potential land parcels and assess any associated risks or challenges.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Legal, Environmental, and Project Management to facilitate smooth land acquisition processes.
• Prepare and present reports on land acquisition progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, policies, and best practices related to land acquisition and recommend improvements or changes as necessary.
• Represent the company in land acquisition-related meetings, public hearings, and community engagements.
