KRA1

Production & Productivity:

To meet the requirement of number of Coal and OB trips as per the Target set for the Shift
Drilling & Blasting

¿ Execute plan for haul road, bench designing, drilling, blasting, excavation and overburden removal.
¿ Responsible for Mines scheduling for natural proportion mining.
¿ Mobilize and ensure required resources/ machinery for achieving target production
¿ Ensure the maximum Optimization and effective working hours of the HEMM Operators.
¿ Coordinate with Overman/ Miing Sirdar for smooth movement of Coal trips to ECL Stack
¿ Daily review and analysis of production and taking corrective action in case of deviation
¿ To provide sufficient space for ensuring non-interruption in drilling activities.
¿ Responsible for schedule blasting programme as per requirement
¿ To coordinate with ECL crew for smooth blasting operation

KRA2

Mines Development & Productivity of Equipment:

Develop faces, roads & benches as per Plan
Ensure the optimum utilization of HEMMs.

¿ To execute mine development as per the approved mining plan for smooth progress of mines.
¿ To project and prepare monthly equipment plan and implementation of the same.
¿ Communicate & co-ordinate with the concerned Shift-in-charge for the execution of the plan.
¿ Monitor the performance through feed back from Shift in charge

KRA3

Cost Effectiveness:

To achieve the bench marks through optimum utilization of the resources.

¿ Strict vigilance and control over all the operating parameters to maintain the cost of operation.
¿ Analyze the performance & take corrective action for improvement.
¿ Adopt new method & technique for improving the productivity.

KRA4

Safety:

Ensure safe operation of all the equipments & comply with statuary requirements to achieve zero accident potential

¿ Ensure use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers.
¿ Ensure safe working conditions & practices by regular inspection of the mines.
¿ Implement the safe code of practice/ statute in movement of heavy earth machineries, drilling, charging, stemming & firing of shot holes, etc.
Identify unsafe condition and unsafe act in mines.

KRA5

Statutory Fulfillment:

Ensure statutory fulfillment as per the different state and central Authorities

¿ Monitoring the statutory fulfillment on day to day basis
¿ Discharging the Statutory function of the Mines by maintaining all types of registers, documents as per DGMS requirement.
¿ Ensure provision of drinking water, rest shelter and other amenities as per statute
¿ Ensure maintenance of all kinds of records and registers and sending returns in time

KRA6

Environment Management & Employee Relationship:

Monitoring environmental condition of the mine and dealing with IR issues.

¿ Monitoring the Environmental related activities
¿ Ensure the guidelines of IBM to be implemented
¿ Monitoring of Blast induced vibration
¿ Ensure dust suppression in mines
¿ To maintain healthy and harmonious industrial relationship.
