Supporting Actions

Scrutiny of CPAN and General Ledger

• Review and Reconciliation of CWIP.
• Scrutiny of CPAN to ensure the correctness of the nature of expenditure
• Scrutiny of Ledger to ensure correct booking of Capex in the CWIP.

Review and Reconciliation of CWIP

Capitalization of new facilities/assets

• Reconciliation of CWIP and compare with the Commitment register to ensure the completion of the Project
• Taking the completion and put to use certificate from the user
• Preparation of required NFA and get the approval of capitalization from the competent authority.
• Passing of necessary accounting entries of capitalization in ERP after proper approval.

Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register in ERP as per the Company’s Act 2013

• Componentization of all new assets as per the Schedule II of the Companies Act 2013.
• Put necessary data in the FA Module in the ERP for any new addition/deletion during the month
• Running the required process in the FA Module for the month to get the FA Register.
• Reconciliation of FA Register with the General Ledger.

Calculation of Depreciation as per Company Act and Income Tax Act and passing necessary entries.

• Computation of monthly depreciation from the FA Module as per Company’s Act.
• Passing necessary entries for accounting.
• Calculation of depreciation as per Income Tax Act for which separate Asset Register need to be maintained.

GST ITC claim as per GST Act 2017

• Claiming of GST ITC for the invoices by ensuring that invoice is prepared within the grounds mentioned in GST records

Payment within stipulated time for MSME vendors as mentioned in MSME act

• Ensuring timely payment to MSME vendors within the due date.
