Supporting Actions
Industrial Relations: Ensure peaceful and harmonious relationship with workmen to enable Unit meet its uninterrupted operation plans.
Interaction with Unions on periodic basis to keep channels of communication open for addressing the issues from time-to-time. Day to day interaction with workmen and handling grievances. To arrive at Understanding & Settlements including VRS, etc. Generating MIS on any issue arising and co-ordinating with respective departments for solving them Disciplinary action wherever required.
CSR
To supervise and organise community development activity surrounding of Indian Rayon unit through Jan Seva Trust for achieving the vision/mission of corporate social responsibility Study the community s requirement
and plan for necessary action to address the issue

Ensure

Settle Legal affairs of Court proceedings Liaisoning with various govt deptt
Ensure all statutory compliances & ensure excellent liaison with statutory authorities. Ensure compliance of all statutory regulations as applicable under the Labour laws an d The Factory s Act. Initiate prompt disciplinary action and ensuring readiness initiate to present Manage ment s case before before concerned Labour Authorities as and when required for smoot h working of the unit.
Guide and support Section Incharge Review of necessary documents Monitor all information pertaining to wages (i.e., ESI/PF, etc.) and ensure their timely submission to the concerned authorities
Preparation of draft note, objection statement, etc., written arguments and furnish all information to advocate Preliminary enquiry, issue of charge sheet Conducting enquiry in a systematic manner. Ensure Managers follow proper processes. Recommending for action To co-ordinate with legal experts and obtain opinion as per requirement of the case.
Review from time to time of these compliances, e.g., renewal of factory license (once in a year), monthly PF & half-yearly ESI returns, PF contribution statements (once in a year), quarterly employment report to Employment Exchange, returns with regard to Apprentices under Apprentices Act, annual returns of contract labour, report
to the Inspector of Factories (once in a year), etc.
To coordinate smooth functioning of Contract Labour Section/Communication Section Review requirements in excess to budget and advise necessary action Liaise with Govt. Communication Authorities Renew and monitor enforcement of activities related to contract labour.
Regular interaction with Government officials for building up relationship with authorities. Organising & coordinating rural development activities. Provide/support during religious functions in village. Liaise with Govt. bodies for welfare schemes of Govt. Liaise with local community. Monitor welfare activity

Ensure smooth implementation of LTS. Support line functions in execution of LTS norms.
Plan, review and ensure corrective action for implementation of Quality systems Attainment of quality improvement objectives, WCM and EMS and safety targets. Study of the statutory requirements. Review implementation of status and take corrective actions. Encouraging employees for participation in kaizen, suggestion scheme, jishu hozen activities and ensure implementation of audit findings.
