ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Hands-on technical experience:
The team utilizes a variety of technologies to provide the best solution for requirements including Websphere Commerce, DB2, REST, and SOAP

Experience in J2EE development including Spring, EJBs, JSP, REST services, JavaScript, React, Eclipse, Git, SQL, HTML, and CSS

Communication Skills

Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, work with architects to come to an agreed technical approach, and lead development efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.

Ability to work collaboratively with or lead cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.

Ability to drive consensus within a team and influence outcomes in significant technical decision-making.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to work with different business groups as well as IT partners (enterprise architects, vendors, etc.)

Problem Solving

Attention to detail and organization in all aspects of the system development along with a solid understanding of the customer need.

Ability to understand, master, and be able to prototype with existing and new technologies quickly.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience/training

10 – 15 years of experience in Java building web applications in a J2EE Environment within the US

5+ years experience working with large scale ecommerce web applications

Experience in application development, testing, implementation and documentation of web based applications using Java

Experience in J2EE development including Spring, EJBs, JSP, web services, React, Javascript, Eclipse, Git, SQL, HTML, and CSS.

Experience defining tables and creating SQL queries using DB2 (preferred) or another database platform

Experience of JavaScript development using one or more of the following libraries – React, AngularJS, EmberJS (nice to have)

Experience with SalesForce Integration and Development (nice to have)

Experience creating and configuring deployments in Jenkins (nice to have)

Experience with Cloud, Openshift is preferred
