Responsibilities of Admissions Counselor

• Handling parents & admission queries.
• Focus on admission.
• Convincing parents to use various strategies.
• Organization sponsorship for school events.
• Organize various events for school promotion.
• Admission target fulfill.
• Creating pamphlet brochures, magazines with the help of the marketing head.
• Market Survey.
• Create and maintain a database of Counselling cases.
• Adequate promotional & marketing activities to be done to promote the school.
• Expert in face-to-face counseling.
• Handling walk-ins.
• Counseling, coordinating, and convincing the Parents.
• Regular follow-ups with parents via email and telephone from the first inquiry to the time of conversion into admission.

Generating inquiries/leads through database calls, emails, etc.

Qualifications for Admissions Counselor

• An Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in any related field may be preferred(Graduation, BA, MBA, BBA, Btech, etc).
• 1-3 years of experience in educations & Marketing.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven experience working with and speaking to young adults.
• Willingness to travel and present information for recruitment purposes.
• Ability to work extended hours during critical admissions seasons.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver information effectively and persuasively.
• Highly organized with a distinct propensity for timeliness and professionalism.

Should understand digital marketing and be able to take care of Facebook posts and other Digital Platforms.
