Qualification: M. Pharm/ B. Pharm

Experience: Min. 5 years (preferably in Medical Device or Pharma Industry)

The position requires leading medical device development and manufacturing. The position will play a key role in manufacturing projects associated with new and/or legacy products. This position will typically work cross-functionally, driving and collaborating with representatives in R&D, Operations, Quality, Marketing, Clinical, and Regulatory to assure the successful execution of our manufacturing goals.

Key responsibilities/ accountabilities:

• To plan, coordinate and direct Product & Process designed to ensure continuous production of products in accordance with all applicable state and local laws/regulations as well as procedures and guidelines of Aegis Lifesciences Pvt Ltd
• Ensure Product & Process Quality operations in compliance with applicable regulations and policies, including CE, ISO 13485, safety and environment and ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed on shop floor.
• Develop and analyze statistical data and product specification to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product, including raw material, in process and finished goods.
• Responsible to formulate, coordinate and meet Product & Process Quality objectives & strategy, Compliance & Training to the staff.
• Observe & promote all regulatory requirements as per defined applicable regulations, rules & procedures established by the Company, and notify any violation or deviation to the immediate supervisor or appropriate authority.
• Mentor, train and supervise the Product & Process Quality staff.
• Improve the efficiency of the Product & Process Quality using process excellence and lean principle.
• Communicate department objectives and metrics to the staff.
• Communicate metrics and systems used to measure improvements in product quality and customer satisfaction in coordination with quality assurance staff.
• Ensure resolution of daily Product & Process Quality issues, inter and intra department.
• Provide inputs to Product & Process Quality reports, requirement and other information in response to requests for proposals, quotes and other business opportunities.
• Review of Sterilization records for GAMA sterilization.
• Make recommendations to management regarding ways to improve manufacturing processes and increase product quality and delivery while reducing production cost.
• Responsible for revision/creation of documents like SOP & QAP required for manufacturing the product.
• Ensure the correctness and availability of the artwork (Product Graphics) to enhance market acceptability.
• Ensure compliance to Quality System requirement.
• To represent Product & Process Quality function and provides technical support and information to production and Utilize cost control initiatives to reduce expenses.
• Ensure adherence/compliance to Records Management policies and procedures, as applicable.

• M. Pharma / B. Pharma with Min. 5 years’ experience in Medical Device or Pharma Industry
• Knowledgeable on medical device standards such as ISO 13485/ CE etc. Follow policies, processes, and procedures in the quality system.
• Proven track record of successful collaboration and leadership to cross-functional teams to advance complex projects to completion.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, teamwork, written and verbal communication skills together with demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed team environment with enthusiasm and a proactive, positive attitude.
• Proven problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Risk Management process such as DFMEAs, PFMEA, etc.
• Process validations, Facilities validation
• Change Control process, BOM processes
• Must be able to effectively operate in a PC environment, be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet data search utilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Salary: ₹800,000.00 – ₹1,200,000.00 per year
